April 19, 2020–Part 2:
Hello Again:
The new MEET video lesson schedule for our math classes is as follows:
- First Hour: 3:00-3:30
- Second Hour: 3:30-4:00
- Fifth Hour: 4:00-4:30
I will post the MEET video lesson codes on you Google Classroom. Rules are as follows:
- You need to be ON TIME!! There is no time to waste!
- You log into your class and type “I’M HERE” in the class chat right away once you join.
- You type “BYE” in the chat when I dismiss you and lesson is finished.
- To save time and make sure our lesson runs smoothly and quickly:
A. MUTE MICS whole time unless I call on you to answer a question
B. Keep Camera “ON” entire video class lesson
C. No CHATTING except when asked to respond!
D. Prepared, On-task, Focused, Ready to Learn
E. Pencil and Paper Handy
F. Thumbs Up or Down to respond to questions I ask
We will start on time and exit on time so I can meet with all my classes on time! Therefore, when I ask you to exit the lesson, you must do so IMMEDIATELY so I am not late for the next class session.
We are all learning together to get used to our video lessons and procedures. It is required and mandatory that rules are followed and respected, proper behavior is displayed, no side chatting, un-muting microphones, or goofing around, and learning and participation is occurring! If any rule is not followed, you will receive a ZERO for attendance (worth 10 points) and may be removed from the class and required to meet with me one-on-one for future lessons!
Let’s MEET, Learn, Share and Have fun! I miss you all and see you tomorrow inshallah. Stay Safe!!
April 19, 2020–Part 1:
Hello All,
Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe! I just wanted to touch base regarding maintaining your math learning and keeping your grade up. If you haven’t finished all 24 of your iReady Lessons that were due today, please make sure you are all caught up!!! Again everything is graded and counts.
Also, you need to make sure your assigned Khan assignments that were due April 5th have also been completed along with IXL–Y.11 and Y.15. You should also check Google Classroom for any Exit Tickets and Lesson Quizzes that you didn’t finish. To double check you can check the gradebook to see if you have any ZEROS for any assignments.
I will be emailing Mrs. Younes, Mr. Bazzi, and Ms. Fawaz the names of students who aren’t all caught up or haven’t completing their assigned work.
In Summary these assignments should have already be done by today:
- iReady 24 Lessons
- IXL-Y.11 and Y.15
- Khan-Assignments due April 5
- Google Classroom Exit Tickets & Quizzes Lessons 16 & 17
