Valentines Day is Friday, Feb 14th! If they choose, students may bring valentines to pass out but must bring one for each student. Students may also hand out candy that comes with the valentines, but due to nut allergies, please make sure the candy does not contain tree nuts or peanuts. Students were given a list of names today to help them with their valentines.

Students are given a reading log every Monday. They are to record the minutes they read each day on the log. On Sunday, students have it signed by a parent to verify that they have read each day and return it to school on Monday. Each student gets one copy, subsequent copies are the student’s responsibility to make.

The End-of-Module 4 assessment for 4th grade will be tomorrow. We have been focusing on PRECISION in this unit. Students must measure precisely, use straightedges to draw lines, and indicate angles, angle arcs, right angles, lines, line segments, rays, degrees, and perpendicular and parallel lines. Attached is the study guide and angle/quadrilateral help sheets.

We could use more Chaperones for our Field Trip on Friday. If you have a background check on file and would like to join us, you can meet us at school around 9:00 am. You will have to pay the full price of admission, $18 + $6 for each show (if you wish to attend those). Email me if you have any questions (majetir@dearbornschools.org).
