Grading: We use standards based grading (SBG) in this class.   Your grade is still broken down into the 80 : 20 ratio.  Here is a link if you have further questions on SBG.

Standards Based Grading

All of the following will be taken into account for your grade:

• 80% of your grade includes:
  • Quizzes
  • Tests
  • Final Exam
• 20% of your grade includes:
  • Daily assignments/Homework
  • Participation
  • Formative Assessments

Please do not ask whether assignments are formative or summative.  If you do, you will be referred back to the syllabus.
