The class earned a reward for their behavior and we will be watching Charlotte’s Web tomorrow as we also finished reading the book. Your child may bring in a junkie snack. Remember we have a peanut free classroom
Also tomorrow for reading month it is snuggle and read day. Students may not wear pajamas, just dress as usual. Your child may bring in a stuffed animal or blanket to read with.
April 13 is the reward day for March PBIS. The students may wear a baseball shirt and bring a junkie snack. It is the first day back from break, so mark it on the calendar!
Parents who attended conferences last night received the report card and folder of tests. If you did not attend conferences, then your child brought home the report card, envelope, and class tests for the third marking period today. Please sign and return the envelope on Monday, March 30 as that verifies that the report card made it home and you saw it. Do not return the report card or the tests. Thanks.

Today your child is bringing home a reading log with a summary on the back. It is due on March 26. Please continue to have your child read daily at least 20 minutes a day. Continue using Raz Kids too. Have them do the questions that are for the selection also.. In addition, your child should do the NWEA prepdog reading and language art practices. The time may be counted as the reading for the day.
In addition to doing the ELA prepdog, please encourage your child to also do some of the math prepdog practice each week.

The timelines are due tomorrow. Three new science activity sheets are coming home today to use to study along with the study guide and book for the test on Wednesday. This week’s spelling is week 24. Please encourage your child to do prepdog for NWEA practice. It would be great to do a test often throughout the week. Your child could alternate doing the math, reading, and language tests.
