Today your child is bringing home the Chapter 3 Math Study Guide.  Your child was given class time yesterday and today to begin.  However, it may not be complete.  Please have your child complete and go over it with your child to see areas of strengths or concerns that need to be revisited.  It is due on Monday, December 14.  It should be turned in completed and with a parent signature.  The test will be on Monday also.

Tomorrow the Water Usage Activity that was sent home yesterday is due.  It should be written neatly and completed.

In addition, the reading log is due tomorrow.  Your child should be reading daily.

We are talking about uses of water in Science.  Your child is bringing homework today that is due this Wednesday.  It requires making a list of the use of water for your family.  Also your child needs to interview an adult on his/her uses.   Please be sure it is completed neatly and turned in on time.

Today your child is bringing home a letter and envelope  for Santa’s Workshop  Please help by filling in the chart on the envelope.  Our class will be going to Santa’s Workshop Tuesday morning, so please send in the completed envelope and money needed tomorrow.

Today your child is bringing home the words for Spelling Week 11.  The words can also be found on Spelling City.

Today we started the Chapter 3 Math Review.  We will be working on it again tomorrow in class, then the review will be sent home.  Please look for it tomorrow in the Everyday Folder.  It will be due on the day of the test, Monday, December 14.

Please have your child read daily at least 20  minutes.

Today your child is bringing home the Social Studies Unit 2 study guide.  The District Test will be in the computer lab on Tuesday, Nov.24.  Please complete and review with your child.  The study guide includes facts and vocabulary to review and study.  Also there are activity sheets provided that need to be completed and studied.

We had 100% attendance for conferences last night.  Looking forward to seeing the rest of the families tonight.  Please be on time.  I plan on following the schedule.

The reading log sent home today is not due next Wed. because of the Thanksgiving break.  It will be for 2 weeks and will be due on Dec.2.  The front should be filled first, then continue on the back.  There are 14 days, so the goal is to read a minimum of 10 days for 20 minutes.

Please be on time for conferences. I plan to follow the times scheduled.
