Thanks for sending in the supplies. Mrs.  Deneen surprised us and she bought the dividers needed for the Leader Notebooks for the whole school so that they would all be alike.( So you don’t need to buy them after all. If they were sent in, your child may take them home.)

It was great to meet many of you today.  Please read and sign the parent letter and complete the information for the office and return tomorrow.  Since I printed the letter  our class now has 24 students instead of the 22.  We will begin specials on Thursday. I will put the specials on the blog when the schedule seems to be set as there are usually changes.  We are scheduled to have PE this Thursday morning so be sure your child has gym shoes.

Thanks for all the things for the party tomorrow.  We will have plenty to eat.  The report card will be sent home along with the NWEA scores and 3rd grade supply list.

Today your child brought home the family picture from our bulletin board, the family leader in me poster, Leader in me certificate, leader at school picture, spelling 33 test with Unit 6 Social Studies percentage glued on it.  Also the Art portfolio was sent home.

Today your child brought home some classwork that we have been working on for the plant unit to help study for the test.  Please go over the items sent home and the study guide with your child and sign.  The book is due too.

1.  We finished the spelling last week, so there is not a new spelling list this week.
2.   The ss study guide is due tomorrow completed and signed.  It has written response practice too to prepare for the writing portion of the test. Your child made a social studies booklet to help study and your child brought it home today.
3.   The science book and test are due on THursday.
4.   Please  continue to read every day now and through the summer.   Did you know that Mrs. Hickson will be in the Lindbergh Media Center all summer on Tuesdays 9-1  and Wed.  1-4 for weeks June 27- August 19th ?  It is so important to keep your child reading!  Come all summer!
