OkWe are going to do a fun geometric activity in class as we are going to sort food items by their shape!  Please let me know what you would like to send in.  Please send in at least 30 of each item.  We can’t snack on the 30 because they are for the project.  If you would like to send in extra, we can have some fun snacks when we are done!

Please only send in the item when you see your name posted.  I will update the list with names when I receive an email or note on what items you are interested in donating.  The items need to be sent to school  for us to sort on  Wednesday, February 8.

Our class has been very lucky to have Mrs. Williams work with us.  This Friday, Feb. 3 is her last day at Lindbergh as she is retiring.  We are very thankful for the time she was with us and we will miss her very much.

5.  I read Charlotte’s Web to the class and they earned a movie reward.  So this Thursday afternoon, we will be viewing Charlotte’s Web and your child may bring in a junky snack.

Today your child is bringing home the Social Studies Study Guide. It will be inside a folder made of construction paper along with a  book that your child made to help study. Please review with your child.  The study guide includes a writing practice as the test will also include a writing section.  Return the completed study guide with parent signature on Wed., Jan.25.  We will be taking the district test on that day.

Also, please look for the Science Study Guide as it will be sent home tomorrow, January 19 along with the Science book.  The study guide will also be in in a construction paper folder with additional items to be studied.  The Science study guide is due next Thursday, January 26  with parent signature. The test will be next Thursday.

Week 16 Spelling is on Spelling CIty.

Your child should be reading 20 minutes daily.  This week’s reading log is due tomorrow and a new one will be sent home and is due next Thursday.

A new reading log was sent home today.  Students are working for a Pizza Hut coupon.  Students that turn in their completed reading log each week will earn a personal pan pizza  with one topping at the end of the month.
