The homeroom moms have been busy planning for the Valentine’s Day Party!  They have a couple of fun crafts planned and the children will exchange Valentines.  The celebration will be in our room from 1:30-2:30.  Please join us!  Each student needs to bring in an empty cereal box that will be used for one activity.  Please send in the box on Monday, Feb.13 or Tuesday, Feb.14.  The homeroom moms also have items needed on signup genius.  There are many items needed . You can find the items needed on my i blog under class links.  On the computer, the class links is located on the right side of the blog post. If you look at the blog on your phone,  type in class links in the search box at the top  of the blog. After you push search, scroll down and you will find the class links below the area to create a subscription.

When I sent out the email about sign up Genius, I had to click on Home at the top of the post or class news at the bottom of the post to get to the class news page.  At the side of the page is the link under class links.

Today your child is bringing home the directions for the Geometric Animal Project.  Please sign and send in the bottom portion of the top letter by Friday, Feb.10 so that I know that you have received the information.  The animal is due on March 8 as it will take time to find all of the  shapes and make the animal.  In the packet you will find the grading sheet that will be used when the animal is brought to school.  Have fun and be creative!( Usuallly the 3D shapes are used for building the animal while the 2D shapes are often used as “spots” on the animal.)

Today your child is bringing a class list to use for the Valentines.  Your child can bring Valentines to pass out on Feb. 14.  We will be having a party.  You will be getting more information about the party soon.

Reading logs are due tomorrow.

Please send in geometric sort items tomorrow (Some have been sent in already).Thanks again to all who donated items for our geometric sort.

Today your child brought home some testing and items from the second marking period.  It is for your information and they do not need to be returned.  Please look over the items for things that you may work on with your child.
