Today your child made a red construction paper folder and  put the Unit 1 Study guide in it along with class work to review for the Social Studies Test on Tuesday, October 24.  Please review the material.  Keep everything at home except the study guide.  Sign and return it on Tuesday so that I know the material made it home for review.  Thanks.

Also your child has the CH.l DEC and CH.1 Everyday Math tests stapled together.  Please go over them with your child and discuss the strengths and weakness.  Please sign the top page and return them both back tomorrow signed so that I know that you had a chance to see the tests.

Today in Science, we learned that a mixture is two or more different things.  We learned that  mixing is a physical change when pieces of matter are mixed together and each piece is the same as it was before it was mixed.  So please send in a mixture with your child for snack tomorrow.  ,

We have field trips in the Spring but please don’t wait to get your background check if needed.  When we have a field trip, the names must be given to Ms. Tiba 3 weeks prior to the trip.  Please be sure that you are approved now so that you are ready if interested.

Congratulations to the class on winning the September Golden Note Award!

Today your child brought home the Everyday Math Unit 1 Study Guide. The students started it in class, but it needs to be completed, reviewed, and signed by a parent.  It is due on Tuesday, Oct. 10. The test will be on Tuesday also.  The students have completed the Unit 1 District Test.  This test assesses material practiced in the math journal.
