The Social Studies study guide is due completed and signed for the district test tomorrow.  Tomorrow is a Late Start.

A new reading log went home today.  It is due on Tuesday, Jan. 9.

Friday is the PBIS reward. Students will watch a holiday movie and  they may bring in a junky snack.

1.  Math study guide due Thursday,  Dec. 21 signed and completed for the test.
2. Holiday Class Party is Thursday 2:15-3:15.  Everyone is welcome.
3. Social studies Map due Dec.22 or Jan. 12.
4. Week 14 Spelling Test is on Friday.

Mon.  Dec. 18:  Science Water Activity due completed.  Don’t forget to do the interview too.

Tues.  Dec 19:  Reading Log Due.  2nd grade Concert at 6:30.  Be here 6:20.

Wed, Dec. 20:  Late start.  Social Studies Study guide due.  Social Studies test.

Thurs., Dec. 21:  Math Study Guide due.  Math tests.  Holiday Class Party 2:15-3:15.

Students should read every day 20 minutes.

The District Social Studies test will be next Wednesday, Dec. 20.  Please help your child review and complete the study guide.  It is due on the day of the test.  It should be completed and with a parent signature.

We will be having Ch.4 Math tests next Thursday.  Look for the Math Study Guide later this week.

The class holiday party will be Thursday, Dec. 21 from 2:15-3:15.  Parents are welcome to join us.  The following is a list of items that are needed.  Thanks in advance.  Please don’t purchase until you receive a confirmation email from me so that we don’t have multiples. ( Some of the items were voted on by the class).

Today your child brought home a social studies map project with the directions attached to construction paper.  Due to this busy time of year,  you can choose from two due dates that works for your student.  One due date is Dec. 22 and the other is Jan. 12. They are the Friday before break and the Friday after break.  Please do a practice map on another sheet prior to making the final copy on the white construction paper provided.

In addition, for Science your child brought home an activity to log water usage this week and to conduct an interview on the back of the activity sheet.  It is due Monday, Dec. 18.

Reminders:

1.  Read 20 minutes daily.  Reading log is due every Tuesday completed and signed by a parent.
2. This week on Spelling City are Week 13 words.
3. Secret Santa shopping for our class is this Wed.
