Enjoy the summer!
Tomorrow morning we will have an ice cream party. Thanks in advance to everyone that has volunteered to bring something in.
We have a couple students doing a puppet show for the class at 10:30, and then we will have ice cream following the puppet show. So please join us at 10:30 if you can come.
The boys and girls had a great time this morning at field day!
This year we have learned multiple songs to help them learn the multiples for multiplication/division. The songs are attached into the Everyday Folder. Review them over the summer to get them ready for 3rd grade multiplication/division facts. Happy singing!
Today your child attached a sheet about Read Works. It gives directions so that you can give your child reading practice this summer. You also can download and print a summer packet if you are interested. It is a great resource. If you have questions, I will be happy to help. Happy Summer Reading!
Field Day Reminders:
Bring a water bottle.
Put on sunscreen.
Bring a snack and put name on it. We will eat the snack tomorrow as a break during field day. We will be in the morning field day schedule.
Lunch will be provided for students.
Thanks for your ongoing support! (The family picture you sent in last fall is being sent home today too.)
Please return missing library books if you have some out.
We are all set for the ice cream party! We needed whipped cream, but now we are all set with that too! The items needed and the donation volunteers are listed on June 4th post.
Enjoy the weekend.
The social studies study guide is due tomorrow completed and signed. Your child is bringing home a public issue practice that we did in class today and your child had to think of a solution. Tomorrow’s test will have multiple choice and 2 essays. One essay is a take a stand question and one is a public issue question and your child has to give solutions.
Reminders:
I apologize for the typo on the District Study Guide as I was not aware of it. I am glad that most of you found that it should have been a + not =. The District provides it for the classroom use.
Thanks for your ongoing support.
Tomorrow is Leadership Day. Please wear a Lindbergh shirt.
Cakes and cupcakes are needed for the fun fair. They can be homemade or store bought. Drop off at school by 4 p.m. on Friday. If you have questions, contact Mrs. Blumenstein (Charlotte’s mom). A note went home today about it.
Reminders:
Thanks!
Reminders:
Everyone did great on the Science test on Friday. I am going to send home all of the end of the year tests with the report cards next week.
Mrs. Schook has made a donation list for the ice cream party on the last day of school , June 14th. You are welcome to join us. The time is tentatively at 10:45. I will confirm the time soon.
Let me know if you would like to send something in or add an idea to the list. I will send you a confirmation email. Thanks in advance. ( There are 21 students. I added a few more to the number for parents or siblings that may eat ice cream.)
Thanks for your ongoing support.
