NWEA Schedule. Spelling Week 1. Math Homework.

The NWEA schedule was changed   We will do the Reading NWEA this Thursday, Sept. 6 but we will not do the Math NWEA until next Tuesday, Sept.  11.  If possible, do not schedule appointments on those days.

Today your child has copied and attached Spelling Week 1 words to the Everyday Folder.  Please keep them in there all week so they can be studied at home and school.  Your child is also bringing home a note about spelling.  In addition, I put the words each week on Spelling City which is described on the note too.

We began the new math program today. Your child is bringing home some of the practice we did in class on the take out side of the Everyday Folder, and there is homework practice with a letter on the homework side.  The homework practice should be completed and turned in tomorrow.

Your child also brought home lunch menus and a letter that states our classroom is a nut-free zone. Please be aware that only nut-free snacks will be allowed in the classroom.

The schedule may be revised, but we are scheduled to have gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays so please have your child wear gym shoes. I will post the weekly schedule when it is finalized.
