Today we learned that a mixture is an example of a physical change. We learned that the items can be put together and separated again. Please send in an individual snack for your child on Monday that is a mixture. Students will each tell about their mixture, separate the mixture , then remix and eat the snack! Some examples include: chex mix, a mixture of fruit, etc.
Thanks in advance. 🙂

Today your child is bringing home a reading log attached in the Everyday Folder next to Week 4 spelling words. The reading log like the spelling words should stay in the folder. Please have your child read a minimum of 20 minutes daily and help your child complete the reading log daily. Help your child pick a “good fit” book by having your child read a page from the book. As your child misses words, hold up a finger for each word missed. If there are five or more words missed, your child should choose an easier book as it is not a good fit. The reading log is due next Tuesday. Your student will turn in the completed log and attach a new log each week.
In addition, your child is bringing home the Module 1 review(study guide). There is a parent letter attached with more information. It is due studied, completed, and signed by a parent on Tuesday, October 2.
Tomorrow is picture day and it is also gym day. If needed, your child can change for gym after pictures. We are scheduled for pictures before gym. (Hopefully the schedule will not changed.)
Thanks for your ongoing support.
P.S. Reminder from the Lindbergh office: If you received a parent survey from the office, please complete and turn in by October 1. It is important that the surveys are returned.
