Today the students made a white construction paper folder for the social studies study guide.  Please help your child review and complete the study guide.  In addition, there is some classwork to review also.  A sorting activity was glued on the white construction paper and there is other classwork too sent home.  The classwork should also be reviewed to help review the information.  The classwork and sorting activity do not need to be returned.  However, the completed study guide should be reviewed and signed by a parent.  Your child will be given a homework grade for turning it in.  The test will involve multiple choice questions on the computer and then 3 essay questions. It is important that your child complete the study guide written section in complete sentences to help prepare for the test.

Reminders:

1.  Social studies Three Community poster project is due on Monday, Oct. 22.
2. The Week 7 spelling words are on spelling city and the test is tomorrow.
3. The new reading log is attached in the Everyday folder.  Please have your child read daily 20 minutes.

This week, we will be talking about Being Proactive and taking initiative.  At the end of the week ask your child,” How can you take initiative?”

Today your child should have the week 7 spelling words attached in the Everyday Folder. The words may be found on Spelling City and the test is this Friday.

The Module 1 Math test was sent home today.  Please sign and return to verify that you saw the test.

Today the Lindbergh t-shirt and sweatshirt orders from Spirit and Pride were passed out to the children that ordered them and placed in their backpacks.

Today your child is bringing home the Lesson 7 Math Helper and worksheets.  Today your child is measuring with a  centimeter ruler and a paper clip.  I gave each child a paper clip and we clipped it the homework.
