Each week there are two bonus words that are added to the chart for practice.  The 2 bonus words are not posted on Spelling City and they do not count against the grade but the bonus words help the students learn connections to other words. For example last week, we had the word “to” so we had the homophones “two” and “too”.  This week, we have the word for.  For bonus we have the number word  “four” and the prefix “fore” like in the words forehead or forecast.  We will be learning about homophones and prefixes this year so this is just the beginning of the learning of those concepts.

There is no math homework  today.

Some students are still having difficulty bringing in their homework.  Please help your child with this responsibility.
