Monday is the class Halloween Party and the homeroom moms have some awesome things planned. Thanks for going to the Sign up genius to help out.  Also the homeroom moms have asked for you to send in 25 treats with your child to share with the other students.  Parents are welcome to join us from 2-3:15.

Today your child brought home the Chapter 2 math study guide.  We started it in class, but it is not completed and it has not been checked.  There are 2 parts that are stapled together. One part is to review for the District test and one part is to review for the Every Day Math test.   It is all due completed on Tuesday, November 1.  The test will be that day also.  Please sign to verify that it made it home and it was completed and reviewed.

Please continue to review for the Science test that will be next Wednesday.  The study guide and book were sent home this week on Wednesday.  The  completed and signed study guide( and book) need to be turned in on Wed., Nov.2. I noticed that some students were having difficulty with the section of naming  matter and giving properties as some students were writing the definition of each type of matter.  An example of stating matter: A  pumpkin is  a solid and the color orange is one property of a pumpkin.

Encourage at least 20 minutes of reading daily.
