  • SLOT-Make sure to have identified the following themes in the political cartoon: “The importance of education and knowledge,” “How satire comments upon the absurdity of humans,” “Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely,” and “Power of propaganda.”
  • Animal Farm-The novel must be finished upon your return to school on Monday. Your double entry journal for theme should have one entry left blank. Remember, you should have one example for each chapter. Those examples may fall under any of the six themes. Be prepared to discuss!
