Today in class we learned to make inferences and to cross check while we read and completed our second journal entry.  You also received some of your work back with a grade on it.

HW: Catch Up-  If you have any missing work or any work to correct  it needs to be completed for homework or organize your materials.

Sept. 13

Today your All About Me Letter and Collage was turned in. We can’t wait to learn more about you.  In class you took the SRI test to find your reading level and worked on your balloon.

Homework: None- unless you didn’t finish your letter or collage.

September 10

Today in class we continued to work on our collages and the draft of our  “All about Me Letters”.  We also discussed the main differences between fiction and non-fiction literature.  We read during Daily 5 and were able to tell whether the book we were reading was fiction or non-fiction and provide evidence to back up our claim.

Everyone needs to have a rough draft of the  “All about Me Letter” by tomorrow
