This week we will shift our focus to reading a drama ” The Prince and the Pauper” by Mark Twain. Students will look at the text features of a drama and how writer’s develop plot in a drama. Each student will have a role in the play and will focus on their ability to read with expression. Students may check out a literature book, if they chose, to practice their part.
In Vocabulary students will begin Lesson 5 with the test scheduled for Thursday, March 10th.
Student Reminder Writing Bingo and Vocabulary Trackers are due Wednesday, March 9th. These are part of your DAILY 3 work in class.
It is expected that your child spend 20 minutes a nigh on their reading/ writing challenge. It is their practice and allows them to grow as a reader and a writer. They are due on Monday.
