It seems that we have had quite a bug going around the classroom last week. It even caught up with me, but thankfully I am starting to feel better. Hopefully with the break we can keep it from spreading. With that said MIStar grades have been updated as much as I could today. I still have the Figurative Language Test and Projects to get through so watch for those later in the week.
Tomorrow students will begin writing their Character Analysis Essay. The writing challenge they did last week that was due today will be the basis for the essay ( there are several students who didn’t have it today- see MiStar- and need to have it tomorrow to keep up). Each day students will be using google docs to type the paragraphs of their essay. They are expected to be able to complete at least one paragraph a day in class. Students that don’t finish will need to work on it outside of class for homework. We will also be working on Vocabulary Lesson 4.
