This week we will be looking at fiction to identify point of view and support our answers with specific details. We will work on the reading strategy of summarizing what we read. Students will also be on the lookout for new and interesting words to expand their vocabulary with the goal of finding 5 words by Friday. Students also composed a draft of a personal narrative today in class. From this, we will begin our unit on personal narrative which will end with a final copy.
Homework: Read for at least 20 minutes a night.
