This week we will be looking at comparing and contrasting. Students will compare and contrast Martin Luther King Jr. to Ruby Bridges. They will also be writing a compare contrast essay based on rocks to support their studies in science.

Feb. 14 Vocabulary Tracker and Reading Log Due
Note: Reading log will have 4 entries ( 3 about reading strategies used and one summarizing this weeks reading.
Feb 15 – 23 Mid- Winter Break ( I hope it is beyond mid- winter) Over the break students may do an extra credit reading log and/or vocabulary tracker. Due on Feb. 24th.
