This week we will continue to examine parts of an argument and explore how author’s persuade using ethos, pathos, and logos. You will read two articles on dodge ball ( page 1006-1009) to do so. We will then shift into writing our own argument on a self- selected topic.
Reminder Friday is the 1/2 way point of the marking, so you should have 1 book completed to be on track to finish 2 books this marking period. The best way to do this is to read at home.
Monday Night Homework: All hours but 1st. Watch 1 commercial or find 1 advertisement and identify which persuasive techniques are being used ( Ethos, PAthos or Logos). It can be more than 1 technique.
