This week marks the 1/2 way point of card-marking 2 (CM2). You have been reading for over 15 weeks now ( at home and school) and are expected to have 3 books completed so far. Remember to write your exit ticket in your meta-cognitive log for each book when you finish it.
We will be switching over to reading informational text for the next 3 weeks. This week we will focus on using a reading strategy called SQ3R to help us avoid reading something and not knowing anything about it. Daily Read. Plan on having your 4th book done and 4th exit ticket written by Jan. 10th. Card-marking 2 ends Jan.17th
Tuesday: Finish turning headings into questions for assigned article.
Wednesday: Finish answering your questions.
Thursday: Finish citing evidence for assigned article.
Friday: Finish packet if bot completed in class.
