This week we are wrapping everything up. Students will be writing a letter of advice to next year’s 6th graders, having a debate on the ending of The Giver and taking a mid-term on Lesson 1-12 on Vocabulary. The 120 words have been narrowed down to 35 ( students copied the words to make reviewing easier). Grade are up-to-date Many were missing their letters to themselves today in 2 self-addressed stamped envelopes and can turn it in tomorrow for a late grade.
Students have set goals for reading and writing over the summer. I challenge them to do both as it is the best way for them to grow. Attached is the link for the summer writing challenge.
