Welcome Back!
This week we will be working on reviewing the different types of figurative language. Your presentations will start on figurative language you have found in the real- world ( music lyrics, from your reading, etc). You will need to have the stanza or passage written up along with the title and artist or author. Then you will need to highlight the figurative language, identify what it is, and explain what it means. Remember whatever you chose should be suitable for school and must be shown to me the day before ( make sure it is presentable).
We will begin Lesson 7 in Vocab.
A slight change is being made in the Reading Flags and Prove it Letter. The flags will now be due on Friday and you will be writing your Prove it Letter on Fridays as well.
