Completing a Problem Set on Google Classroom

Good afternoon – Here are the instructions for how to access the Math Problem Sets I give for homework.

1.) Click on on “Ms. Faletti’s Classroom” on Google Classroom
2.) Click on the Math assignment
3.) Click on the attachment I shared towards the bottom
4.) Click on the three circles in the top right corner
5.) Click Open in New Window
6.) Click Open with at the top of the screen
7.) Click Google Docs

After clicking Google DOcs, the assignment will load onto a Google Doc, where you can complete the work. The Google DOc will not have any of the pictures on it, so if there is a question that requires you to look at a picture then just go back to the other screen you had the Problem Set pulled up on and look at the picture, and put your answer on the Google DOc that you just opened.

Student Work and More

Good Morning families
I hope everything is going well and you and your families enjoyed Spring Break. Now that Nowlin is closed for the remainder of this school year, students are responsible for getting all of their work done that is shown on the Google DOC that I post every Sunday.

I will be looking at the attendance list from the Google Hangouts, and time spent on the websites that I share in order to see who is participating. I must track participation in order to ensure students are continuing to learn.

Students will now be viewing their daily assignment on the Google DOC but completing them on out Google Classroom. The Google Classroom has every resource they need to be successful. They will be completing their work on links that I provide for every assignment. We can talk more about this over our Google Hangout, where I will show students how to do this.

If students are unable to participate, you need to tell me so that I can assist you with whatever problem you and/or your child is having. I continue to look forward to this new way of teaching and learning! 🙂

Spring Break

Good afternoon – next week is Nowlin’s scheduled Spring Break…so enjoy! We will not do any Google Hangouts, or have any assigned work for the week April 6 – April 10. We will meet again on a Google Hangout on Monday April 13. I hope everyone enjoys, stays healthy and has a good time with their families! =D
