Good Morning! I am having a bake sale this Friday after school! Please let me know if you can donate any goodies, pop popcorn and help sell items for the event – I will also be staying after school and helping out with everything on Friday 🙂 Everything we earn at the sale will go toward the classroom and classroom events and supplies. So far we have had a great beginning of the school year. Yesterday, students enjoyed comparing and contrasting how light affects our ability to see and communicate. We are engaging in productive conversations about how some stories rely on illustrations rather than words to tell the story. In math, students are are quickly grasping the concepts of addition, subtraction and the use of different counting methods.

I continue to make use of positive feedback to produce a caring and intentional learning community.

Today is the first day I assigned homework! It is due Wednesday, I hope you and your family have a wonderful night 🙂
