Don’t forget that in collaboration with the PTA, we are offering parent informational meetings every month. Our fifth parent involvement meeting will take place this Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 8:45am and at 3:45 pm in the media center. Our topic this meeting with be on parent talk. We look forward to seeing those who are able to attend!

Students will be taking home a reading log in their folders today. Students are to read at least 20 minutes every night. On the log, you will find the date where your child can then write the title of the book he or she read, the minutes he or she read and then a line for  a parent or guardian’s signature. This must be completed every night. I will check every morning. Thank you

Hello families!
Students will have reading homework over the break. I will be giving students a chapter book that they will be responsible to read over the two week break. When students return from the break, they will be completing a task based on the book they read.

This Friday, the 21st, is Pajama Day for $1. Please consider allowing your child to come to school dressed in appropriate pajamas and I will collect the money in the morning. The money will go to the PTA in order to fund the various activities going on in and around the building 🙂

This is a reminder that tomorrow, Wed. Dec. 12 is a late start for students.

The students will be previewing the items to buy at the Santa Shop on Monday, December 10 and purchasing the items on Friday, December 14. Please be sure your child is able to purchase on that day if he or she is planning to buy from the Santa Shop.

Good Morning! The Nowlin Santa Shop will be open next week!The PTA is looking for volunteers to work at it – thank you to those who have already volunteered! The days and times are as followed; Tuesday 12/11 from 9-11 and 1:30-2, Wednesday 12/12 from 10-12 and 1-3, Thursday 12/13 from 9-10 and 2-3 and Friday 12/14 from 9-11 and 1-3. We appreciate if you are able to help! 😀

Students will have a Module 2 test on Friday. I will be giving them a review on Thursday. I encourage them to study homework done in the past for Module 2 and take time out on Thursday night to study the review I give them on Thursday.
