Math Test Review

Hello families –
Students will have another assessment review on Monday for an assessment on Tuesday. Please help encourage your children to review past lessons within Module 4 (Lessons 1 – 8).
As a reminder, I have decided to give the students tests more frequently in order to increase the success rate in Math. Thankyou!

Lansing Field Trip

Hello families –
I will need a confirmation if your and child and a parent will be going on the Lansing field trip in April by this Friday (3/8). I will then need the money for the trip by next Wednesday (3/13). Thankyou

Lansing Field Trip

Good afternoon
As of right now, I have nine students who have turned in their permission slip and the fee for the Lansing field trip in April. If you plan on having your child attend, please send in both the permission slip and the money for the trip.
Do not forget that the profits from the popcorn sale on Friday is also going towards funding the trip.
Thank you

Popcorn Sale

Good morning!
The class popcorn sale is this Friday. All of the profits made will goto help fund the Lansing field trip.
Is there anyone that can help pop and bag popcorn? Without volunteer helpers, it will not be possible to have a popcorn sale to help fund the trip so please let me know if you can help out … it is on Friday March 8.

Homework

Good afternoon
In case there are any questions regarding the homework, I would like to answer any questions you might have.
Students are to read at least 20 minutes every night and fill out their reading logs, stating what they read, how long they read for and get a parent/guardian signature.
Students get homework for their reading group every time I meet with their reading group.
Students have Math homework every time I teach them one lesson. Ideally, this is everyday, however, there are days where we have to do other things and that fills up time (i.e. Playworks, assemblies, etc.)
For example, students had Playworks and an assembly this afternoon so we were unable to finish lesson 5 so they do not have lesson 5 homework tonight, we will be finishing lesson 5 tomorrow.

Students will be finishing lesson 5 and receiving their first Module 4 Test test review tomorrow. They will be taking the test on Monday. I have broken up the modules so that the tests are shorter.

Please let me know if there are any other questions.
