Cranbrook Field Trip

Good morning
This is a reminder about the Cranbrook field trip. Permission slips are due tomorrow and I have received 20. Therefore, there is still a handful of students who still need to turn one in.
This field trip covers students and five parent volunteers. I currently have two parent volunteers. Three spaces are still available. Please consider coming along with the 3rd grade on our field trip to Cranbrook and let me know – thanks! 🙂

Cranbrook Field Trip

Good morning
I want to remind families that the Cranbrook permission slip is due this Friday, April 11. Please just sign the slip and give it to your child to give to me. The trip is $0 so the only thing I need is your signature. Thanks =)

Cranbrook Field Trip

Good afternoon families
We have our field trip to Cranbrook scheduled for May 6. The permission slips are due by this Friday, although the sooner I get all of them the better! We will be visiting their Frontier Michigan program, which is an excellent program that is great for our 3rd grade Social Studies Curriculum. We will also be visiting the museum while we are there and having lunch, which should be bagged. There is a $0 fee for this trip so I really hope everyone will be able to go!

Read by Third law

Good morning

With the recent Read by Third law coming into effect, it is important to keep yourself knowledgeable about what exactly Read by Third is and how you can help your child be successful. This link has a lot of good information you can read to help your child.

MSTEP homework

Good morning families
The homework I am assigning students over the spring break is tocomplete the MSTEP Sample Tests that can be found in Google Classroom. Please help encourage your child to practice because the more they practice and familiarize themselves with the MSTEPand the online tools that the test provides, the more successful they will be on the test. I also believe it will help relieve them of any nerves they might have regarding the test. Thank you

M-STEP Parent Meeting

Today is a M-STEP Parent Meeting after school from 3:45 – 4:00. I will be there along with other teachers to inform you on the best ways to help prepare your child for the M-STEP test that is being given in April. I hope to see everyone there!
