Students are allowed to wear their costumes during the last hour of the day tomorrow. They are also invited to bring in candy tomorrow so we can celebrate during that last hour of the day.

This is a reminder about the Fire Safety Field trip that is this Thursday, October 24. Please be sure to have your child’s permission slip signed and turned in so that they may attend! This field trip is district sponsored and we are not in need of any chaperones for the trip – thank you 🙂

Can’t believe Fall Fest is this Friday 10/25 from 6-8 pm!!
It is going to be so much fun!!! We can’t wait for all the Nowlin Teachers, Families/Friends to join in on a great event put on by the Nowlin PTA.

This year we added a Halloween/Fall Themed Sensory Table (will be located down the Kindergarten/ASD classrooms hallway),
We are looking for some additional help for that table, it is on the sign up genius (if any of the ASD staff is interested or any family members that we be greatly appreciated.

We will have Trick or Treating down the classroom hallways as well during the event, so Nowlin students don’t forget to bring a bag to collect your candy in!!!

Themed Basket Tickets ($1.00 each or 6 for $5.00) will be for purchase which is new this year and will have themed baskets done by each of the Homeroom Parents!!! Donations were given by the Nowlin Families.
There will be food concessions available as well with some yummy food!!
Food Tickets will be available to purchase as well at front door $1.00 each
Halal Hot dogs, Pizza, Nachos, Chips, Donuts
Drinks: Pop, Water, and Juice Boxes

Wednesday, October 16, will be a late start for students. School will begin at 9:40.
This Friday, October 18, is Picture day!

Good morning – Many students were given their emergency cards to take home today. This is because a parent did not go on Parent Connect to complete them so they need to be completed on Parent Connect and be returned asap. Thank you

Bike and/or Walk to School

Now that safeties are on most corners, ride your bike or walk to Nowlin School.

Prizes will be awarded in November to the top bikers and walkers!!

Helmets, double insulated water bottles, water bottle holders, bike repair kits, and bike lights!!!!!!!

Students have a half day tomorrow, Friday September 20, which means dismissal is at 11:45. As a reminder, tomorrow for Pizza Day at 11:45 outside Nowlin. Pizza will be sold for $1.00 along with pop, water and chips which are also $1.00 each.
