This is a reminder that today will be the last day of school this week for students. I hope everyone has a happy and restful Thanksgiving break =)

Book Bingo is this Thursday (11/21) from 6-7pm in the cafeteria. It is a great time and the kids love it. We would love to see you all there. Also, a representative from the Dearborn libraries will be on hand to discuss the wonderful offerings of your local library and can sign you and your family up right on the spot to be members of the library, including providing you with a library card.

Good afternoon
Students will have a Mid-Module Assessment tomorrow on lessons 1 – 11 in Module 2. I have been preparing them during school. If you want to help them study, I would review the work they have done for lessons 1 – 11 in Module 2.

Nowlin is participating in a charity food drive this year to benefit Zaman International/The Amity Foundation. The drive will be held Nov. 18 – 22 and we will have a box in the office for food collection (canned and boxed non-perishable food items please). 

K/1 SUCKER SALE

Our K/1 class is having a sucker sale on the 15th of November.  The suckers are regular size suckers i.e. tootsie pop/blow pops for $0.50.  The suckers will be for sale on a pre-order basis and delivered to the classrooms on the 15th.  There will also be suckers for sale after school on the 15th. Please send in the amount you wish to order along with the money to your teacher by the morning of the 15th.
