Good Morning – There will be no Summer school Reading Program meeting on this Thursday, August 27. Teachers have a meeting on Thursday so I will not be able to meet with students. Sorry for any inconvenience.

I have just found out that students are unable to log into Google Hangout. I apologize, as I was under the impression that they were able to now.

From now on, we will be using iLearn as our way of video chatting together. iLearn is a program that was made and is used by Dearborn Pubic Schools. Here are the instructions to log into iLearn:

1.) Log onto www.dearbornschools.org

2.) In the top right corner, click “Home” and click “Student Portal”

3.) Click “iLearn Classrooms” (It is near the top of the screen

4.) Click “Ms. Faletti’s Class” (on the left hand side)

5.) You will see a blue button with a “b” in the middle, the words “Ms. Faletti’s Class” are next to that button. Click that blue button.

6.) Click “Join Session” and you’re in!!

Good morning – I only had a couple students present at the 9 o clock meeting. I am going to provide all of the information shared:

-Students and I meet face to face Monday – Thursday for the next two weeks

-There are three sessions each day. I will provide a copy of the session that your child is expected to log into my Google Meet.

-Every student needs paper and a pencil when we meet.

-The focus is on word work and reading

-Attendance will be taken everyday and we will also go over the norms and expectations during our Google Meet times everyday.

Here is the information for this morning at 9

Greetings, families! I am so happy to be your child’s teacher! Summer school begins tomorrow, Monday August 17, online. Please read below to get information about when and where we will be meeting.

-Our very first meeting will be tomorrow from 9:00 – 9:30 on Google Hangout. This will be an introduction time where I will show students the routines and expectations when we meet. I will also show them how attendance will be taken.

-The next meeting will be from 11:15 – 12:30.

-The third meeting will be from 12:45 – 2:00.

**Students need to only attend one meeting time per day. We will be doing the exact same thing every time we meet, so it will not benefit students to attend more than one session. I am also trying to keep the number of students that attend the meetings small so that I can give enough attention and help where it is needed so I will be putting a schedule together after tomorrow. I am going to give each student a meeting time that I will ask them to attend. That means that every student will be given a time to log onto the Google Meet every Monday – Thursday to learn with some of their classmates. More information will be given tomorrow when we meet.
