Welcome Back!

I hope everyone had a wonderful summer! We have jumped right back into our routine as if we never left. 🙂 We have a mix of preschool and kindergarten students again this year.  As of now we have six students all who were with me last year as well.

PEEK AT THE WEEK

• This week worked on getting back into the swing of things
• We read an interactive book of Wheels on the Bus
• Practice counting objects and matching numbers with school themed items
• Dug through our dry bean sensory bin to find the pieces to a number puzzle. We worked together to finish the puzzle
• Went out to the playground
• Decorated the first letter of our names with bingo markers
• Read a story called “I Can Be a Friend” and made a chart about things good friends do
• Practiced core vocab “go”
• Read “Pete the Cat Rocking in My School Shoes”

• Had gross motor time in the classroom with the slide, tunnel, trampoline, and rocking horse
• Worked on book handling skills during Daily 5
