Hello, Everyone! Tomorrow we will begin NWEA Testing. Please make sure children are well rested, and have a healthy breakfast. Also, please try to minimize appointments or absences during the next few weeks. Thank you so much.

Dear Parents: Since NWEA Testing will begin next week, please have students go on the Prepdog website to practice Math and Language Arts skills. The students know how to get on, and use the site. This will be very helpful to prepare. Thank you!

Dear Parents: Welcome back and Happy New Year! I Hope everyone had a wonderful vacation! Please note some changes in homework for the rest of the school year…  Now, for Spelling Tic Tac Toe, students must complete 6 activities rather than 3. Also, students must read 30 minutes each day rather than 20. This should be from books and websites. Please continue to fill out the reading log to keep track of this. Thank you for your support!

Dear Parents: A reminder that our classroom party will be tomorrow in the afternoon. I do not need parent volunteers for the party, as students will be passing their own snacks. If you signed up to send in an item for the party, please remember that we have 26 students, and that we may have no nuts/peanut butter of any kind. The PBIS celebration will be on Friday in the afternoon. Students have already signed up for the movie they want to watch.

I will be sending home the latest math test today with the score.

Dear Parents: The Unit 4 Math Test will be on Friday, December 15. The Study Guide was passed out yesterday, and students should review it every day this week. Please help them to prepare for this test. Thank you!

Dear Parents: The Unit 3 Math Test will be on Tues. November 21. I will be sending the Study Guide home tomorrow (Friday). Please study and review this with your child.

There will be no Spelling next week due to the Thanksgiving Vacation. Thank you!

Dear Parents: This week we will have 2 more evenings of Parent/Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, and Thursday. I will send reminder notes today of the dates and times.

Dear Parents: Parent/Teacher Conferences will begin this week on November 9. There will be 2 more days of conferences next week on November 15,16. You will be sent a reminder notice of when your Conference time is. Please remember to attend, because it will be our first real opportunity to review your child’s progress so far, and to review the Report Card. Thank you!

Dear Parents: Please Remember that we will still be having the Spelling Test tomorrow (Fri. 11/3). The Tic Tac Toe activities will also still be due tomorrow, even though it is a half day.

Thank you to everyone for all of your help during the Field Trip, and for the Halloween Party. The students enjoyed both days very much!

Dear Parents: A reminder that our Halloween Party will be on Tuesday, October 31 in the afternoon. The children will be watching a movie, and eating their treats. I do not need any parent helpers for the party, because the children really enjoy passing their own treats that they have brought to their classmates. However, please feel free to join us for the Halloween Parade beginning at 2:30 outdoors. This is a great chance for taking pictures of students in their costumes. Thank you!
