Dear Parents: The May PBIS Reward is scheduled for tomorrow. It is very similar to the April one, where students will eat lunch outside, and play for a longer recess. This may need to be rescheduled if it rains, but for now, please have students bring their towel/blanket, and outdoor toys for tomorrow. Thank you.
This Week
Dear Parents: Thank you to everyone who was able to help on the field trip. I truly appreciate your help in keeping our students safe.
There will be no school this Friday, or Monday, and therefore, I am not giving Spelling this week. Thank you!
NWEA Testing
Dear Parents: A note that NWEA Testing will begin for our class tomorrow. Please have your child go to bed early, so that they are well rested, and please have them eat a healthy breakfast each day to help with focus, and concentration. The site Prepdog is a great way to prepare for NWEA. Thank you!
Animal Project, Field Trip
Dear Parents: A reminder that the Animal Project (poster) is due on May 21, next Monday. Please make sure that students turn these in on time, in order to be able to present them to the class. Also, please remember our Field Trip to the Detroit Zoo is on Tues., May 22. I must collect all permission slips and payments as soon as possible. Please note that if you are joining us as a chaperone, you will need to drive your child to and from the zoo, in order to save room on the bus. 2nd grade t-shirt orders are due as soon as possible as well, so that we may wear the shirts on the Field Trip, and for other special events coming up. These shirts are optional. Thank you!
