Welcome Back!

Dear Parents: I would like to welcome you back to a new and exciting school year! I would also like to welcome all of the new families to Haigh Elementary. I hope everyone enjoyed a restful Summer.

I have some brief announcements to begin the school year…

SNACK- The students will have a snack time every day in the afternoon. In first grade, the students had snack in the morning, but in second grade, our lunch is at 12:00 PM, so snack time will always be in the afternoon. Please provide a HEALTHY snack, and water bottle for your child each day.

OPEN HOUSE- Open House will be on Thursday, September 13, from 6:00-7:30 PM. At that time I will be having you subscribe to my Blog through your email, in order to receive important classroom information. I am looking forward to meeting with all of you on that evening.

Thank you for contributing to all of the classroom supplies for the students. Your help is very much appreciated! If you need to reach me with a message, please call the school phone at 313-827-6200, or email me at kowalsm@dearbornschools.org. You may also arrange to meet with me at any time. Just contact me to set up an appointment. Thank you so much! Looking forward to a great year!
