Dear Parents: The Spelling List for this week is: grow, crow, low, mow, toe, doe, goes, foam, soap, toast.

Next week being a short week, we will not have Spelling, but we will have a Math Test on Tuesday 11/26. I will be sending home a Study Guide Today. Thank you!

Dear Parents: Many students did not receive a homework sheet because we were rushing at the end of the day. We will go over it all together tomorrow. No worries, thank you.

Dear Parents: I have had to change many of your Conference dates and times due to the Snow Day yesterday. Please check your child’s planner today for your new date and time. Thank you so much!

Dear Parents: The Spelling Words this week are: try, cry, fry, dry, pie, die, lie, tie, wild, mild.

Conferences are Tues. and Thurs. of this week. I have sent everyone a reminder note of their time and date.

The Book Fair will be open all this week, if you would like your child to purchase anything, I will allow them to visit the Book Fair any day this week. Please send money in an envelope or baggie so that it doesn’t get lost.

Canned food items, or boxed food items are being collected for the needy for Thanksgiving, if you would like to donate. Thank you!

Dear Parents: There will be a short Math Quiz tomorrow (Fri. 11/8). Please have students review the Study Guide that was sent home yesterday.

The PTA is having each classroom collect coins, change as a contest to help support teachers with buying supplies, etc. for the classroom. The first class to fill their collection container will receive an ice cream party. Thank you!

Dear Parents: The Spelling List for this week is: main, sail, wait, tail, train, jay, stay, may, pay, hay. Remember no school tomorrow (Tues. 11/5) due to Election Day. The first day of Parent/Teacher Conferences will be Thurs. 11/7. I will be sending reminder notes home today to verify your date, and appointment time. Thank you!

Dear Parents: Thank you all for your help in contributing snacks, etc. for the Halloween Party. The students truly enjoyed their day, and not even the weather could spoil their fun. I so much appreciate all your efforts!

Dear Parents: Mr. Short has decided to have the parade indoors tomorrow due to the weather. Unfortunately, parents cannot attend because of space. Thank you for your understanding. He has posted this on the school blog as well.

Dear Parents: please remember a DOUBLE BAGGED LUNCH for the Field Trip. If you are a chaperone, please bring your child to school first for attendance and tickets, etc. Then you may drive over to the museum with your own child to meet us there. You must drive your own child if you are a chaperone, in order to save room on the bus. Thank you so much for your help.
