Week of 3/8-3/12
Dear Parents: As you know, we are beginning our first 2 days of the Hybrid Schedule this week. For this week, students will only come to school in person Monday (9:40-2:20) if they are “A Day” and in person Tuesday (9:40-2:20) if they are “B Day.” Wednesday through Friday this week will be on Zoom beginning at 8:40. This is because of teacher vaccinations. Specials classes will remain the same as they have been for this week, but will be changing next week. I will inform you of that new schedule next week. Students that are coming in person tomorrow (A Day), should be lined up at the basketball court area at the cone that says Kowalski (bunny/duck picture) by 9:35 at the latest. Students that are at home tomorrow (B Day), should be on Zoom with me at 8:40, so that I can take attendance, and answer any questions for the day. Please check Schoology Updates and Schedule every day for assignments. Students have been given a Math and Reading Packet to work on when they are not in person. When working at home, students need to do 1 page (front/back) of the Math Packet, and 1 article of the Reading Packet (read, highlight, answer questions). Students that are B Day will report in person on Tuesday at 9:35, and A Day students will work in the packet as mentioned above. Again, please remember that I will meet with students on Zoom at 8:40 if they are not in person, in order to do attendance. I will also meet with ALL STUDENTS ON ZOOM WEDNESDAY-FRIDAY at 8:40 this week.
When students come in person, please make sure they have the following items:
Mask, water bottle, snack, Math Books (Practice, Learn), Reading Book (Technology), pencils, crayons, scissors in a case, Reading Bag ,notebooks, backpack, lunch if bringing from home. I will also put the schedules into Schoology.
Thank you for your cooperation during this time of transition. Please email or text with any questions. Thank you so much!
Week of 3/1
Dear Parents: This week will continue to be ZOOM in the morning, and In Person Learning Labs in the afternoon during assigned days and times. I will be giving students an orientation for the Hybrid Model during their Learning Labs this week, and our Hybrid Model for grades 3-5 will begin for 2 days next week on Monday/Tuesday (3/8, 3/9). Please make sure students have water bottles when they come for in person instruction from now on, and any other school supplies, such as Reading bags, crayons, markers, colored pencils, highlighters, pencils, and notebooks. Thank you.
