Week of October 16- 20

Hello Dear Families!

I hope you are prepared for another busy week here in preschool!  We have many fun activities happening this week along with quite a bit of learning!  We are continuing to become independent in the classroom by serving ourselves our meals and snacks, cleaning up after ourselves (during work time, outside time, after rest time) and becoming an active member in the classroom by following rules and procedures and helping our friends.

What We Are Learning…

Please review colors learned by finding them in your home (on clothing, boxes, in books) or while out at the store or even playing outside (red, blue, yellow, green, purple, orange, brown, black)

We are learning to recognize the letters in our name and the order the letters go in.  Please practice on recognizing the letters in your child’s name and the order in which they go (Rajaa- R-a-j-a-a).

Reminders-

  • Don’t forget we have our field trip to University of Michigan Pond tomorrow, October 17, 2017 in the morning.  Please dress your child appropriately for the weather since we will be outside for a couple of hours.

  • Thursday October 19 at 8:00 am, we will have our Mandatory October Parent Meeting.  This meeting will be about literacy.  Please make sure you bring your child to school with you since there are activities for you both to participate in.
