“Dia de los Muertos”

“Dia de los Muertos”

In this unit, 3D art students created sugar skulls in the spirit of Dia de los Muertos – the “Day of the Dead” celebration. Observed as a national holiday in Mexico on Oct. 31 – Nov. 2, Dia de los Muertos is a joyous time that remembers friends and family members who have died. Its art work is symbolized with festive skeletons, skulls, flowers and butterflies that have colorful and symmetrical designs and patterns.
