Today in class we continued to work with conversions, both standard and metric.
Tomorrow’s quiz will be on the flashcards completed in class on Tuesday, with information from the foldable brochure with conversions on them. 20 points/20 questions, summative assignment.
***Next week Wednesday will be the District Common Assessment for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd hour. 4th hour will take it Thursday due to the school spelling bee on Wednesday.
Today we finished the stations that we began on Friday. If you were not able to complete them, here are are the questions. Both station assignments are due on Wednesday of this week.

Grades from Thursday’s test are on Zangle. Please check your grade. Tests were handed out today in 3rd and 4th hour, and tomorrow 1st and 2nd hour will get their tests returned.

Today we finished our double number line/table/graph/chart/unit rate posters. There were quite a few concepts to fit into the group projects.
Tomorrow is a warm up quiz on dividing fractions. Students were asked to bring their SLOT booklets home with them tonight to review.

Today I am at a math meeting, so students will be working on unit rates, double number lines, and multiplying and dividing fractions.
There will be a warm up quiz this Friday. Study the problems in your SLOT booklet.
There will be a test as well next Thursday which will cover the topics we have been studying so far in this unit. A review will go home next week and will be posted here as well.
Today we focused on the connection between a double number line, graph and table. The students worked together in groups to create a visual representation of all three. They turned out fantastic! Pictures will be posted later. Stop by to see if yours is posted.

Today we continued with combining like terms. We started this last week and will finish up tomorrow. We have been using Algeblocks to learn the concept, adding highlighting and showing work as we became better at solving the practice problems. Here are a few pictures from 4th hour today.

Hello Again! Today we worked on evaluating expressions using number cubes and playing a game. In first and second hour we began a new foldable, and will do the same tomorrow with third and fourth hour, because of an assembly today.
****I will begin tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning next week! Please let me know if you would like your child to stay. Tutoring is from 3-4:45 and there are busses available to limited bus stops. You can also pick your child up from school. Space is limited!****
