Hi! Thank you for visiting my blog! My name is Melanie Klein and I teach 5th grade at Geer Park Elementary School in Dearborn, MI.  I have been teaching for 16 years and have been teaching at Geer Park for 14 of those years.  I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor degree in Education and from Henry Ford College with 2 associate degrees.  I also completed my master’s degree in Education from Marygrove College in August 2015.

I am married with 3 children – my son, Brody (14), and my daughters, Laurel (12) and Brynn (9).  When I am not teaching or spending time with my family, I enjoy reading, gardening, golfing, skiing, and driving my Jeep Wrangler!  I love working with children and feel fortunate to have such an enjoyable, rewarding career!  If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me:
