This is a busy week with lots of exciting things going on! I am sending notes home today but wanted to post what will be happening this week!

• PTA holiday store is open. We will visit everyday until Friday.
• Wednesday, Dec. 19 is PBIS celebration. We will have game day! This can be board games or an electronic game (NO PHONES)
• Friday, Dec. 21 is our Winter Solstice Celebration and coloring book exchange! We will exchange new coloring books, wrapped, and enjoy pizza and decorating cookies in the afternoon!
• Winter break 12.22.18-1.7.19! 🙂

Tomorrow will be pizza for snack day! Pizza is $1 and chips are $.50!

We are also sending home another book order form. You may complete the order by this Sunday. I would love to get these delivered before Christmas break! To ensure that, I need them in ASAP!

Hello Parents/Guardians,

This Friday, November 30th, we will be having our very first PBIS celebration of the year! PBIS is our behavior system, implemented district wide! Each class has a tower and students can either clip up for good deeds, or down for poor choices. Students that are not on red more than 3 times are able to participate. I will provide popcorn and students may bring in a “snack” of their choice!

The PTA is hosting a bake sale this Thursday! We are in need of donations to support the sale. Please bring in any baked goods or treats for Thursday’s sale.

Happy Friday! We are sending home a family turkey project to be completed over the weekend! This is a fun time for the family to get creative and express your artistic side! Projects are due next week, Monday, if possible!

I also set up IXL, a website online for the students. Check folders for usernames and passwords to be used for extra practice in ELA and math. Please use this site as much as possible as we have a free trial until January, and then the trial will expire!

REMINDER:

NO SCHOOL, Tuesday, November 6th, 2018.

We are having our first field trip to the apple orchard tomorrow! We plan to leave at 9:00. If you are a chaperone, please arrive at 8:45! We are extremely crowded and will be sitting 3 to a seat on the bus! It will also be cold (and maybe rainy) so please dress warm! We will be going, rain or shine. Students may wear costumes, just make sure they are warm enough.

PTA is also selling headband for $2 in the store tomorrow. I will send students before we leave if they bring money.

Also, a $1 raffle for a candy basket this week.
