PERSEVERANCE

I just want to recognize a few students who have consistently tried their best to master the multiplication facts. They have practiced at home and have taken the weekly quiz. I decided to make the weekly quizzes optional because quite frankly I was sick of just wasting paper.

Well done Dalia, Kacie, Isabella, Giselle, and Grace. Keep up the good work!

Next quiz is 5/2. You still have time to prepare for it!

Today’s Precept

“There are many great deeds done in the small struggles of life.” -Victor Hugo

I think it means there are a lot of kind people in the world, and they do great deeds to help people who struggle. It reminds me of Habit 5 because some people understand that others can’t do some things so they can help them. It is important because if you see someone who struggles then you should help them not just stare at them. -Isabella M.

I think it means every day you should do a good deed. It reminds me of Habit 6 because you are helping others and together is better. It is important because good deeds are kind. When you fill people’s buckets they love it. -Grace F.

Today’s Precept

“Wherever you are it is your own friends who make your world.” -William James

I think it means be thankful that you have a friends. Respect them and they will respect you. This reminds me of Habit 1 and Habit 7 because you are respecting them and caring for them and you are playing with them too. I think it is important because when you have friends you will have fun. If you don’t have friends you won’t have fun and you will be lonely. That is why you need friends. -Zolan M.
