Open house is this Thursday from 6:00-7:30.

Please make sure your child brings in their reading book bag if they have one from kindergarten. If they do not have one please bring $5 to purchase one (this will be there’s to keep). We will begin sending books home soon for your child to read. They should be reading at least 20 minutes every night. Happy reading! Please see note attached.

We would like you to join us for a 1st grade parent meeting on Friday, September 13th at 2:45. We will be meeting in Room 124 (Ms. Alaouie’s classroom which is located in the annex building on the 1st floor.) This is a meeting to give parents a chance to meet your child’s teacher and for teachers to discuss what to expect in your child’s 1st grade classroom this school year.

Field Day for first grade will be Wednesday June 12th. Please make sure your child wears socks and tennis shoes and   brings a water bottle with their name on it. Please no parents as it will be crowded.
