Here’s some information to help you on this week’s assignment.
ANGLES
This < is the angle symbol. So <A would read “angle A”
To name an angle we can use one letter or number or three letters, keeping the main one in the center.

So, we could name this <O
We could name this < AOB (notice the O is in the middle of the name)
We could name this < BOA (notice the O is in the middle of the name)
RAYS, LINES, and SEGMENTS


Lines, rays and segments are all named with 2 letters, the beginning and end of the set.
We put the symbol for each on top of the letters so that we know if it’s a ray, line or segment.
