Let’s review important geometry facts!

1. The sum of a triangle’s interior angles is 180!

2. Vertical angles in a triangle are congruent.

3. Corresponding angles are congruent.
(Must have parallel lines to form corresponding angles)

DE is parallel to AC.
Therefore, angle A corresponds to angle D.
Angle C corresponds to angle E. Which means they are the same measure!
