- M: Minimize distractions. (Put your phone away from you!)
- A: Arrive early, prepared, & ready to learn & work!
- R: Respect ourselves & others, including our surroundings!
- T: Try our best, always!
We are smart (You better believe it! Faith it until you make it!), but sometimes we don’t act smart. Let’s put forth our best effort to continuously make smart decisions.
PARTNER NORMS
- P: Participate actively.
- A: Ask questions.
- R: Read the requirements.
- T: Treat each other with dignity and respect.
- N: Never give up!
- E: Equally take turns participating.
- R: Respect other’s thoughts and space.
- S: Stay with your partner(s).
GROUP NORMS
- G: Give your best.
- Thoughtful feedback and no arguing.
- R: Respect self, others, thoughts, & spaces.
- Be a kind person.
- O: On-task and one person talks at a time.
- Stay on task all of the time and actively listen.
- U: Use soft voices & good communication.
- Use 6-inch voices & I statements.
- P: Participate equally and with interest.
- Have a growth mindset!
- S: Stay with your group.
- Do your job.
